2018 Holiday Festivities

The sights and sounds of Christmas have been on full display throughout Tooele County this month with special community events and programs that celebrate the holiday season.

It all began after Thanksgiving with the arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus during Grantsville’s popular Christmas Lights Parade on Main Street. Then came the Tooele County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism annual Santa Parade, which ran west on Tooele City’s Vine Street to Tooele Technical College.

Next came a variety of events and productions, like the “Nutcracker” at Tooele High School, the Live Nativity at the Clark Historic Farm, the It’s a Wonderful Life Festival at Deseret Peak Complex, the 34th annual “Messiah” concert, and much more.

There were also several charitable events where Tooele County citizens again showed their strong compassion for helping those in need. When it comes to celebrating and honoring the Christmas season, the Tooele County community is all heart.
