Tooele High enjoyed a solid fall sports season, highlighted by a fifth-place finish at the Class 4A state tournament by the boys golf team.
Bridger Holmes finished third overall in the state golf tournament, one stroke behind the eventual champion. The girls tennis team sent the doubles pairing of Taya Unruh and Kammy Hamilton to the state tournament, while Teagun Palmer represented the boys cross-country team and Makayla Komer and Jennifer Thomas ran at the state meet for the girls.
On the football field, the Buffaloes advanced to the postseason yet again, earning their playoff berth with a big win over Bonneville in their final home game of the season.
It was a year of growth for the Buffs on the volleyball court and soccer pitch. Neither team was able to advance to the postseason despite being in contention for a playoff berth until the very end. Both teams were very young, however, and should be threats to reach the postseason in the years to come.
