Wednesday will be the last Christmas of the decade. When calendars are turned over on New Year’s Eve the 2010s will be gone and the 2020s will be ushered in.

May people say of Tooele County what the narrator said about Scrooge after his visit from the three spirits of Christmas at the conclusion of the classic, “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens: “And it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!’’
