If April showers bring May flowers then the Tooele Valley is headed for a full-blown flower festival next month.
One storm after another passed through the valley leaving rain and snow in its path. The above-average precipitation trend has continued for the area bringing a lot of clouds to the skies. The precipitation has inched Tooele County out of the drought but left residents yearning for sunshine, blue skies and warmer temperatures so they could enjoy being outside after winter.
The sunny days did not go under appreciated with residents taking opportunities to feel the warmth of the sun and soak up some Vitamin D.
The forecast for today is sunny moving to partly cloudy with yet another storm expected for Friday with high chance of rain.
