Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend Alicia Anne Miner, born Nov. 21, 1985, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 5 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death and joyously reunited with her little brother Robert “Ty” Miner and grandparents Helen Frieden, Vern Frieden and Charles Miner. She is survived by her parents Terry and Margaret Miner, grandmother Norma Jean Miner, brothers Brad “BJ” (Denelle) Miner, James (Julie) Miner, and sister Crystal (Jordan) Arthur, as well as three nephews and two nieces whom she dearly loves. A viewing will be held Nov. 8 at the Tate Mortuary in Tooele from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. at the Grantsville LDS Stake Center, 550 E. Durfee Street, with a viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery. Alicia has requested that those attending her funeral wear something orange. We would like to give special thanks to Darrin Smith, Dr. Gregory Litton, the infusion staff at IMC, Harmony Hospice and numerous friends and family.
