Linda’s quiet warrior has a new four wheeler partner in Jesus. Arden passed away Feb. 20 in the arms of Linda and his girls by his side. He was born in Richfield on Nov. 12, 1959 to Kathleen Borg Allred and Willis Dee Allred. He resided in Sigurd until he was 19 years old. He moved to Tooele where he met and married his soulmate, Linda Young, on Sept. 5, 1988. Arden was a loving family man with passion for his Linda, his beautiful daughters and his brother Kevin. Hunting, fishing, four-wheel riding and shooting guns in the beautiful mountains and deserts of Utah was his favorite pastime. He worked for Richfield Brick & Block in his teen years, ran a business with his father at Dee Allred’s Diesel as a mechanic, and then moved on to work in aggregates for several companies such as Cox Rocks, Rodney Rasmussen and Staker Parsons Co. He was a loyal, long standing friend who invested in the privilege of friendship. The family would like to thank all of his friends and close relatives for their special care and kind words. Arden fought valiantly so that he could stay involved in his families lives. He was always the problem solver for his family. All his family will miss the quiet warrior. He is survived by his wife Linda, children Rachelle Busico (James Hughes), KayDee Allred (Tyler Nielsen), Brandi (Greg) Mascarenas and Abby Allred (Clint Hansen), grandkids Halie, Vincent, Justin Maseo, Mikayla, Mikey, Ariana and two grandsons that are to arrive soon, sister Terry Allred and very special brother Kevin Jay Allred, and nephews Tony, Rick and Mike. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Kathy Dee Allred Christensen. The family would like to thank Michelle and Barbara of Harmony Hospice Care for their compassionate care and kindness (you girls helped us in the most difficult time of our lives) and the infusion team at the Huntsman’s Cancer Center. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 1837 N. Aaron Drive in Tooele, on March 1 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Arden’s name.
