Brent Alan Wishart passed away peacefully on Jan. 21 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born Sept. 14, 1962 in Eugene, Ore. He was the second child and first son born to Ellen and Jim Wishart. He is survived by an older sister, Rebecca (Stephen) Miller, and a younger sister, Cheri Noorlander. He has a younger brother, Glade, and a nephew, Nicholas, who had a special place in Brent’s life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine. He had a great love for all his nieces and nephews and they in turn thought of him as the greatest uncle. He graduated from Tooele High School and then served a mission in the England Bristol area. Following his mission, he attended Utah State University graduating with a degree in journalism and communications with a minor in music. Prior to Brent’s illness he worked the last 12 years at the Utah Tax Commission as a computer specialist. Funeral services will be held Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Canyon Creek Ward chapel, 332 E. 1000 North in Tooele. A viewing prior to the services will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery. We would like to give special thanks to friends and acquaintances for their love and support and the University of Utah Hospital, the Huntsman Center and CNS nursing staff for their loving care.
