Our beautiful mother, daughter, wife, aunt, sister and loyal friend to all those who knew her, Bridgett Lynn Hammond, passed away Jan. 18, 2014. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Tooele. She was born Sept. 9, 1971 in Ogden. Parents DeMonte A. and Nancy A. Baum. She is survived by her two beautiful children, Teal Malin (Josh Cooper) and Ozzy DeMonte Hammond; her sister Kristine Baum, niece Lacey Baum Brown (Colton); nephew Zackery Baum; great nephew Bently Brown, and two ex husbands Odin Malin and Timmy Hammond. Bridgett was a warm, wonderful, giving person who always put her friends and loved ones ahead of her own needs. She also had a wonderful talent and imagination for decorating. She loved the Holidays and decorated a tree for each holiday. She worked at Tooele City in Parks and Recreation, where she designed and built the Tooele City float for the the Fourth of July parade for many years. We will all miss her loving ways, her beautiful smile, her wonderful personality and her warm and giving heart. There will be a celebration of life in Bridgett’s behalf at the LDS Church Cultural Hall at 777 Skyline Drive from 5-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014.
