Charlotte Estella Naff King

Charlotte Estella Naff King, 86, died on Dec. 27 in Salt Lake City. Charlotte was born Sept. 12, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio, to Fred A. Naff and Mamie L. McDaniel Naff. Married Charles Lee King Nov. 30, 1947 in Covington, Ky. Charlotte loved to volunteer and was a Pink Lady at Pioneer Valley Hospital from 1971 to 2012. She loved to machine quilt, do ceramics and porcelain dolls. Grandma loved all her family and was always there for them. Family and friends loved her dearly and will miss her. God bless you, Grandma. Mom had a warm relationship with God and served him faithfully in the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of West Valley City. She is survived by four children: Sandra (Robert) Garrard, West Valley City; Jack “Randy” (Connie), Elk Ridge; Charles W. “Bill” (Cathy), Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Mary (Raul) Garcia, West Jordan; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers Kenneth (Carol) Naff, Ohio; and Richard (Melva) Naff, Ohio; and the neighbor who was like a son, Jack Clark. Preceded in death by husband, parents, daughter-in-law, and brothers Arthur and William. Funeral services were held Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4615 S. 3200 West, West Valley City, with the Rev. Matthew Seddon officiating. Friends called Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road. Interment was at Redwood Memorial Park.
