Our beloved Christopher Lee Sena, 49, of Tooele, passed away from liver cancer on Feb. 23. Chris was born Oct. 12, 1962, in Raton, N.M., and moved to Tooele with his parents, Alvin and Christina Sena, in 1976. He graduated salutatorian from Tooele High and earned his finance degree from the University of Utah. Christopher and his son, Ryan, were very active in the Catholic community. Chris was an usher, CYO basketball coach, and Santa for the kids. He was employed with Staker-Parsons for almost 30 years. Chris finally found the love of his life and married Mary Theresa Flaim in 2004. They spent the next seven years traveling to six different continents, exploring the different cultures and wonders of the world. He is survived by his wife, Mary Theresa Sena of Tooele; mother, Christina Sena; son, Ryan (Nicole); sister, Mary Ann (Charles) Sena-Edelen (nephews Zac and Gabe) of Las Vegas. A funeral mass will be celebrated Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 450 E. 2100 S. in Salt Lake City. A vigil service will be held Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. also at the church where friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O’Donnell and Sons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kearns-Saint Ann School Annual Giving Fund in Christopher’s name, 430 E. 2100 S., Salt Lake City.
