Obit Darrell Jeffrey MooreDarrell Jeffrey Moore, fondly known as “Squirrel” to his friends, passed away May 26, 2023, at age 49. Darrell was born July 22, 1973, in Tooele, Utah. He graduated from Tooele High School and spent his adulthood in Tooele and in Salt Lake City, Utah. He became a highly skilled general contractor and owned 3 Point Construction, specializing in hardwood flooring. His specialized work earned him features in magazines.

Darrell loved the outdoors. His adventurous spirit was evident from a young age when he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His hobbies included fishing, biking, and exploring the outdoors with his beloved dogs. His love of nature was matched only by his love for his late wife, Allison Moore. He was passionate about his animals and found peace in the outdoors.

Darrell is survived by his mother Jacqueline (Steve) Healy of Henderson, Nevada; brother Robert (Jennifer) Moore of Orem, Utah; son Ian Richeson of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandmother Betty Reed of Stansbury Park, Utah; and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Moore, and his loving wife Allison Moore.

Darrell will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A private celebration of life will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Nature Conservancy.
