In case you didn’t know, Dave left us in an advanced scouting party to check out the last great adventure. I trust he will mark the path well and that we will one way or another meet again to continue our laughing, loving and learning from each other. Rest in peace, son, only for a moment, then put in a good word for the “old man.” See ya later. David Paul Jones, 1975 graduate of Monroe High School, died unexpectedly on Jan. 17. David was born April 6, 1957 in Tooele. He served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman for four years. David leaves his wife Colleen, daughter Anjanae, son Logan, brothers Mark and Donny Jones, sisters Marci Dedomenico, Heidi Jones and Stacy Jones, parents Ramon and Ronda Jones of Monroe, Wash., and Naomi Smith, Dollie Dobson and Judy Nelson of Tooele. He was especially proud of his children and the love of his life, Colleen. David loved being the elder brother and enjoyed the Seattle Seahawks and anything to do with sports. His enjoyment of life and the laughter he brought with him will be missed as well as the ability to listen to his many friends and offer a helping hand. He will be missed by all of us. What a reunion he is having with loved ones who have gone before. As Dave would say, “see ya later.” Memorial services will be held at the Radisson Hotel on International Blvd. in SeaTac on Feb. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. This will be a celebration of Dave’s life.
