Delores White

Obit Delores WhiteDelores White, lovingly known as Ling, passed away May 25, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. Born in Agana, Guam, April 11, 1938, Delores was a devoted wife, supportive mother, and doting grandmother. Her journey through life brought her to various places like Germany, Colorado, and New Jersey, before finally settling in Stansbury Park, Utah. Delores was a proud mother of four and grandmother of four, and her greatest achievements were found in the moments she spent with her family.

Delores was a compassionate and funny woman with a heart of gold. Her distinct infectious laugh would effortlessly fill the room, even if those around her didn’t know what she was laughing about. She was known for her random outbursts of laughter and her loving nicknames for her grandchildren: Star, Neni, Atanon Boy (handsome boy), and Baby Girl. Delores found joy in watching General Hospital, collecting porcelain dolls, and being actively involved in her grandchildren’s day-to-day activities and sporting events. She was also very devoted to her faith, which served as a guiding light throughout her life.

Delores is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William White; and her children Monica, Ron (Megan), John (Katie), and Scott (Eryn) White. Her grandchildren, Mia, Josh, Nolan, and Aislyn White, will continue to cherish the memories they shared with their beloved grandmother. Delores was preceded in death by her parents Vicente Leon-Guerrero and Soledad Guerrero; and siblings Alejo, Francisco, Vicente, Manuel, Emila, Ignacio, Jose, and Vicente Guerrero.

A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary, Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 6-8 p.m., and also at St. Marguerite Catholic Church, Monday, June 5, 2023, at 9:45 a.m., followed by the rosary at 10:30 a.m., and the funeral mass at 11 a.m. We encourage you to leave memories and upload photos of Delores to her memorial page, celebrating the love and laughter she brought to our lives.
