Deven Morgan passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 4, 2017. Deven was a wonderful son, grandson, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Deven was born in Salt Lake City on Sept. 26, 1989, to Brenda and Billy Morgan.
He lived in Wendover, then moved to Grantsville when he was 5. Deven graduated from Grantsville High School and worked at US Magnesium and Morton Salt. He was a dedicated and well-respected employee at both.
Deven was blessed with his mother, Brenda, and stepmother Kelly. Deven and his father were especially close.
His dad was his best friend and the best man at his wedding. He also had a special bond with his mother and father-in-law, Wade and Stephanie Bennett.
In 2014, he married the love of his life, Danielle Bennett. They made their home in Tooele. They had a wonderful relationship.
Dani supported Deven in all of his endeavors.
Deven was passionate about music. He taught himself the drums and was in several bands, performing at the Tooele Arts Festival and many other local venues.
He was also an amazing artist. He could pick up a paint brush, pencil or a can of spray paint and make a masterpiece.
Deven enjoyed riding BMX and dirt bikes and four-wheelers with his family. Deven was kind, funny and caring to all he met. He will be missed by friends, family and all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, dear sweet Deven.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. at the Grantsville City Park on Cherry Street.
