Edna Lenice Webb Wilde, born Nov. 9, 1934, passed into eternity to the anxiously awaiting arms of her sweetheart on Feb. 11. Her children will forever admire her grace, tenacity, elegance and determination she exhibited daily throughout her life, and especially during the battle that ultimately took her from us. If you know Edna, you know what amazing grace truly is. She was born to Edward and Elva Webb in Eureka, the second child in a close family of four. She married the only man she ever loved, Jack Wilde, on Feb. 15, 1951, and every Valentine’s Day since has been a celebration of love, family and chocolates. Together, Jack and Edna raised four daughters and a son. Jack passed away Sept. 19, 1998 and she missed and talked of him daily. We are comforted to know that our mom and dad will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and their anniversary together this year. Joining them will be their daughter Cathy who predeceased her on March 8, 1999. Mom’s siblings include Lola (deceased), AB (Lenny) and CarolAnn (Kay). Her surviving children are Jackie (Dan), Sharon (Gerry), Stacey (Shane) and Edward (Hannah). She also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held Feb. 15 at the LDS Ward building, 36500 N. 8000 East (Indianola Road) in Indianola. A viewing will be at 9 a.m. and the funeral will be at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Payson Cemetery, 400 N. 800 East in Payson, at 1 p.m.
