I keep hearing the state wants to move the state prison so the land can be developed for high tech businesses. There is no guarantee that they will build there unless they are already sucking up to the state for that land. I think that if our elected officials are already spending taxpayers’ money on this bad idea, they should be voted out because there is nothing wrong with the state prison where it’s at and the buildings should be in good shape.
I like my idea better to keep the prison where it is and let those tech companies move out here to the old Utah Industrial Depot, now known as Ninigret Depot. That won’t waste open space and tax payers’ money. Simple now, isn’t it.
