Herminio Aviles passed away at his home in Tooele on Oct. 18 at the age of 67. Herminio was born Feb. 12, 1945 to Enrique and Maria Aviles in Manati, Puerto Rico. He was best known for his avid love of the 50s, including cars, music and dancing. You name it, and that spelled out Herminio. He had the greatest passion for working on cars and was a skilled mechanic. Herminio was a great friend and loved by everyone that had the chance to meet him. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his girlfriend of five years, Loretta Lucero, children Michelle Richards, Christina Aragon, Herman Aviles, Chastine Aviles, Gene Aviles, Herminia Aviles, Dezzie Aviles, Mandy Hunt, many grandchildren, mother Maria Aviles, siblings Carmen Trujillo, Pedro Aviles, Inez Hequet, Glady Medina, Luis Aviles, Brunilda Arellano, Robert Aviles, Irma Aviles, Ismael Aviles, George Aviles, Luz Anderson, and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Enrique Aviles and brother William Aviles. A viewing will be held Oct. 23 at St. Marguerite Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. also at St. Marguerite.
