Huey C. Graves, age 81 of Louisville, passed away peacefully early Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Baptist Hospital East. Huey was born in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Euel and Nora Anderson Graves on March 17, 1933. Huey served in the Air Force during the Korean War and later was a police officer in Tooele, Utah. He retired from Turner Expediting Service. He married Veda Ann Graves of Tooele, Utah on June 25, 1954.
Huey is survived by his loving wife Veda; three children, Brad Graves (Michele), Judy Hill and Jodi Graves; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen, Samantha, Stephanie and Brett; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Hospice Unit at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
