In support of Celeste Maloy

I appreciated the Transcript Bulletin covering the 2nd Congressional District debate recently held at the Grantsville fire station. 

I also appreciated that two of the three candidates traveled to Grantsville and throughout the district to present their views and answer questions at a number of debates. 

The Republican Party caucus delegates chose Celeste Maloy as the party’s candidate and I second their endorsement as well as the endorsements of the Tooele County GOP, outgoing representative Chris Stewart and former congressman Rob Bishop. 

Several other candidates were not selected at the convention and accepted that result. 

I am disappointed that Becky Edwards and Bruce Hough chose to pay for signature gathering to appear on the Republican primary ballot. 

Celeste Maloy is well spoken and has an excellent background and experience to represent the 2nd district. I am urging all registered Republicans to vote for her in the upcoming primary election.
