Mrs. Iva Rae Cole Davidson, born Nov. 25, 1920, in Keene, Texas, celebrated her 100th Birthday at Cottage Glen Assisted Living Center in Tooele. Rae was pleased to have our Mayor, Debbie Winn stop by to say Happy Birthday and brought her some pretty flowers. Rae also received a beautiful certificate from Governor Gary Herbert welcoming her into The Centenarian Club of Utah with a beautiful pin in the shape of our state with the number 100 on it. Many other resident’s at Cottage Glen made fun and heart felt cards for her. Because of COVID-19 many residents were not able to attend her celebration. All residents have been on lock down and in the Red Zone with no outside visitors.
Rae married Albert Davidson on Oct. 1, 1939, in Washoe County, Nevada. Rae lived in Reno, Nevada; Hager, New Mexico and Potters Valley, California. Rae worked in a Sanitarium where she cared for patients with tuberculosis. She was also a ranchers wife. Rae loves music, she played and taught piano for many years. She loves to read and continues to today.
Rae and Albert have two daughter’s Raelyne and Dianna.
We at Cottage Glen love having Rae with us and are so happy for her with this lifetime achievement.
