On Jan. 4, the world lost a kind and gentle soul. Jayce loved his family above all else. He was always generous to everyone, even when he didn’t have much for himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to quote Monte Python and Quentin Tarantino. He remained a loyal Jazz fan, even when they weren’t very good, and most people had given up on them. He was proud to be a melt cell operator at Mag Corp. He is survived by his beautiful children: Tyler, Katie, Gage and Genave, his wife Cassi, his father Ken (Lila), mother Linda, brothers Daryn (Sue), Damon (Georgette) and Chance (Julie), numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, and many, many friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Jayce Tanner Memorial Trust at Mountain America (www.macu.com). Funeral services will be held Jan, 9 at 1 p.m. at Tate Mortuary. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
