An Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 390 Village Blvd. in Stansbury Park, to celebrate the rank of Eagle Scout for Justin Tyler French “Frenchy.” French is a member of Troop 1028, sponsored by the Country Crossing Ward of the LDS church. French’s project was to construct shelving and install flooring in the trailer in the Country Crossing Ward activities trailer that will be used to serve the activities of the primary, young men, young women, relief society, elder’s quorum and high priests. French completed his project in November and was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on Dec. 12. French is currently a senior at Stansbury High School, member of the SHS tennis team, participating in his second year internship program with the North Tooele County Fire Department, and is also in an internship program with the University of Utah Air-Med. French is a member of the Country Crossing Ward of the LDS church. French’s parents are Kevin and Laurie French of Stansbury Park. Grandparents are Tom and Joyce Graham of Chanute, Kansas and Betty French of LeRoy, Kansas. French’s future plans are to serve a mission for the LDS church, attend Utah Valley University and become a firefighter/paramedic.
