Linda Lee Brown, 59, of Grantsville, died on Oct. 11, 2013 at home due to complications from multiple sclerosis. She was born on Nov. 29, 1953 in Hot Springs, S.D. She married David Brown on Aug. 9, 1974 in Tooele. Linda loved all animals, especially dogs. She also loved riding horses with David. Before MS crippled her life, they often rode together in nearby canyons, and showed horses at cutting shows all over the western United States. Linda was also especially proud of her work accomplishments. She worked for Key Bank in Tooele for 23 years. She started there as a part-time teller and retired a decade ago as branch manager. She would have loved to continue to work, but MS made that impossible. She is survived by her husband, David of Grantsville; her mother, Arylene M. Poor, of Tooele; brothers, Robert Poor of South Carolina, Donald Poor of San Angelo, Texas, and Dale Poor of Tooele. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas B. Poor of Tooele. Linda had requested a simple funeral and that it only be a graveside service with family and friends. That service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
