JoniKaeDavisJoni Kae Davis returned home to her Heavenly Father Feb. 17, 2005, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 23, 1960, in Delta, Utah, to Richard V. Davis and Karene Bingham of Rush Valley.

Joni is survived by her children, Kristi of Grantsville, Colby of Mesa, Ariz., Colton and Shalindria of Rush Valley; three grandchildren; and her sisters and brother, Vandy Williams (Chris) of Grantsville, Debbie Hope (Larry) of West Haven, Glenn (Tammy) of Taylorsville and Teri Jo (Jason) of Rush Valley.

She is preceded in death by grandson Taner, grandparents Verdon and Fay Davis of Deseret, Utah, and Ruel and Bernice Bingham, and two nephews.

Joni was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, attended schools in Grantsville, attended Weber State University and finished her degree at the U of U with a bachelor of arts in psychology.

She was very athletic and was on the volleyball and basketball teams and cross track, getting a full scholarship to Weber in this sport. Joni played the French horn in the band for four years. She was valedictorian of her graduating class.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 23 at the Rush Valley Ward, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Friends may call between 10 – 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in the Clover Cemetery.
