Krista Vasquez

Obit Krista VasquezKrista died suddenly July 15, 2021, from diabetes and other complications.

She was married to Frank Samuel Vasquez Jr., Nov. 24, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a beautiful wedding she helped plan. He was the love of her life, and she was to his. After they met, they were inseparable, took good care of each other, and were best friends, loving spouses in good times and bad, soulmates forever and they will forever be together.

Over her life, she did many fun things including living in many US cities and London throughout her childhood, visited England, Italy, France, and as an adult went to Korea, but was always glad to get home. Her best achievements in life were giving birth to her son Ian James and graduating with an associate degree from Eagle Gate College in Layton.

She worked many jobs but found being a security guard the most rewarding. Along with Sam, she loved her car, talking on her phone and computer to friends, watching TV shows and movies for hours, but hated fireworks or anything that went bang. Even though she had many medical issues over the years she never let it get in the way of her living. She had the BIGGEST heart, loved everyone she met and will deeply be missed by her loving husband Sam, son Ian, her mother and father Michael and Larene Rachiele, her sister and brother-in-law Andrea and Derek Barraclough, nieces Lily and Leia Barraclough, her aunt and uncle Carol and Henry Mortenson, Karyn and Kent Gilbert, Sarena Shorts, Terry and Georgette Rachiele, and Rocky and Shaunna Rachiele, her two stepchildren Jedda and Grayson, Sam’s mother Lori and stepfather Johnny Hurst, Sam’s sisters Kelly and Jessica and their families, uncle Robert Vasquez, and many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Guido and Dorothy Rachiele, Opal Clark and Bill Clegg, and uncle Michael Jerry Lopez. All her family and the many friends who knew her, THIS IS ONLY GOODBYE UNTIL WE SEE YOU AGAIN. WE LOVE YOU FOREVER!

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main St. Tooele, Utah. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the celebration of life. Interment will be at the Cliffview Cemetery in Price, Utah.
