Patrick Francis Langan

Obit Patrick Francis LanganPatrick Francis Langan, 68, passed away at his home March 23, 2023, in Enoch, Utah. He was born Nov. 27, 1954, in Viroqua, Wisconsin, to parents Richard Langan and Lona Fratini.

He grew up mainly in Las Vegas, however, he loved the small-town life and lived the majority of his life in Tooele and his later years in Enoch, Utah.

Those who knew Patrick would describe him as quiet, gentle, and unassuming. He was not one to raise his voice and never wanted to be a burden to others. However, he was always very willing to help and give to any of his family in need. If you couldn’t find Patrick watching the news, he was most likely hunting and camping in the mountains. His favorite past times were teaching his children to fish and watching movies together. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Lori in the mountains during the deer hunt. Patrick was not only proud of all his children but also very proud of his service in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Patrick was strong as he fought his battle with lung cancer. Although he was overcome with grief from his beloved wife’s passing six months prior, he continued to press on and sustained his relationships with his mother and children. By all who knew him, surely, his last words would have been, “Love ya, kid.”

He is survived by his mother Lona Fratini; children Marie Castaneda, Patrick Langan Jr., Justina Corbett, Anna Teeples, Laura Langan, Samantha Ontiveros, Kylie Watson; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lori Langan, his father Richard Langan, his brothers Glen and Michael Langan and Kelly Cormany.

Funeral Services will be held April 1, 2023, at 1 p.m., at Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.mortuary.org.
