In May, Rose Springs Elementary held the Sixth Annual Mini Marathon. It has become an anticipated running event for the students. All students who run the race are awarded running beads. They are encouraged to run each year to accumulate all six sets of running beads. The top six runners (boys and girls) from each grade earn a medal or ribbon. Pictured are those who placed in the top six.
“I am always so proud of the students that put their best into this event. No matter what their place, I love watching the kids try to finish something that may be hard for them. I can tell they feel a great sense of accomplishment,” said Kirsten Graves, P.E. Specialist.
