Ruth Sainsbury, our dear aunt, passed away Aug. 16, 2014. She was born Feb. 13, 1923, to Elsie Irene Taylor and Wilford Wallace Sainsbury in Tooele, Utah. If it could be said that a person in this life carries one special talent or strength, Ruth’s would’ve been the ability to accept the path of her life with quiet resolve. Ruth filled her life with the joys of family and other people’s children. She was a caring dedicated primary worker for the greatest part of her adult life. Through 70 years of service to her faith, children from 6-16 were the recipients of her belief in love, prayer, and testimony. It was also during this time that she served her sister Dorothy’s children as well. Their lives were forever molded, supported, and decorated by her generosity and affection. It’s safe to say all four will be eternally blessed and grateful. Ruth’s testimony and love for her Savior was simple and clear. No detail, doubt, or dressing, needed. She left this world nearly as clean and virtuous as the day she entered it. And like her, we her family are positive that she was greeted and embraced by those whom she faithfully served that had gone before. We wish her love and God’s speed, longing for that day when we too may see her and the rest of our loved ones once more. We remain here her loving family: nieces Carla (Craig) Lever, Marianne Lampson, our daughters Amanda (Geoffry) Greene, Emily (Joshua) Mills, with Chloe, Dexter and and Carter. Graveside services will be at the Tooele Cemetery at 361 S. 100 East, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
