As a property owner near the new temple project, I would like to comment.
Often people, who protest new neighborhoods, don’t factor in the fact that people are also an important part of this beautiful environment. I see new neighborhoods in Erda with tree lined streets, kids riding their bikes on nice shady sidewalks to a quiet park to play on the grass, the ball diamonds and soccer fields. An urban forest will grow up where it’s now just open fields.
Is it selfish to imagine a world where you are the last one to build a home overlooking an alfalfa field? It is only smart to share the joy of living in an area like Erda and to plan new communities for families to enjoy a beautiful way of life here. It will still be country… just more beautiful!!!
