Stansbury finished 11th in girls competition with 78.5 points, and Grantsville placed 16th with 30 points. They fought and scratched for every point.” Stansbury’s Garrett Hillman shined at the meet with a second place finish in the 500 freestyle, and a third place finish in the 200 freestyle. Grantsville’s Tanner Higley placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke. Tooele sophomore Cassidy Evans placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke. A complete story of local finishes at the state meet will appear in Thursday’s Transcript-Bulletin.
