Stan Lee Van Dam

Obit Stan Lee Van Dam AOur dream catcher passed away on Jan. 17, 2014 after battling a chronic illness. He was born on Feb. 10, 1950; his parents are Stephen Ralph and Gloria June Nielson Van Dam. Stan left behind his greatest dream, his family — his wife Peggy; mother Gloria; sons Brian Van Dam, Mark Jacobson (Diem); daughter Angela Van Dam-Walters (Sam); his granddaughter Jasmine Van Dam and great grandson Jordon “King.” Obit Stan Lee Van Dam BStan is reunited with his father Steve, sister Nancy, and grandson, Brian Lee Van Dam Jr. Stan was a proud member of the Ironworkers Local 27, Boilermakers Local 182 (4), but he really enjoyed the time he worked in safety. His passion was chasing the next big adventure, from sailing, scuba diving, hang gliding, riding his Harley, traveling, and golfing at any course he could find — just to name a few. You touched the lives of so many and left your mark wherever you went. Your family will miss you dearly and hold you in their hearts forever. A celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Jan. 23, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stansbury Park Clubhouse, 1 Country Club, Stansbury Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stan’s name at any Wells Fargo.
