Stansbury FFA went to the Utah FFA State Convention in Logan March 13-15. While we were there students attended leadership workshops and we are honored to announce and to congratulate Connor Black and Jared Lorensen received there State degrees. In addition, Connor Black was the second runner-up for the star state degree in production. As a chapter we received an award for 10 percent membership increase, state floriculture sweepstakes award at the Utah State Fair, Food for America, superior chapter.  Also, at the convention we had four members of our chapter compete in the  state agriscience contest, competing in the food science category we had Jesse Hopper and Courtney Boekweg, comparing how fast ice cream freezes with different ingredients that could either speed up or slow down the freezing process. The other team was Connor black and Jared Lorensen in the social systems category comparing the knowledge of agriculture thru ought urban and rural communities.
