Head coach Bridget Clinton is optimistic heading into the 2022-23 season. And despite losing three seniors to graduation, she noted that the team is returning three players who will be seniors.
“I’ve never had the philosophy in my entire coaching career of rebuilding, only reloading,” Clinton said. “I expect Stansbury High School softball to be very competitive.”
The Stallions’ season starts today on the road, as they head to West Jordan to face the Jaguars. Their first home game takes place in a couple weeks, when they play hosts to the Cottonwood Colts on March 22.
