Welcome to TooeleOnline.com support. Many questions in regards to our E-Edition can be answered below. Before contacting us, please browse this page for answers to your questions. If you can’t find the answer to your question or if you are experiencing issues that are not related to the E-Edition, please scroll to the bottom of this page for more options.
Frequently Asked Questions:
There are 3 ways to sign up. You can simply click on any story that you would like to view, click on the “Subscribe Today” button that hovers on the right of each page, or click on the “Subscribe” link in the main nav bar. Once the page has loaded an overlay window will appear that will allow you to sign up and choose your preferred subscription.
To login click on any story that you would like to view. Once the page has loaded an overlay window will appear. Click the “Log In” tab and enter your email and password that you set up when you created your account.
If you are a current Newspaper Print subscriber, you will get free access to the E-Edition. Simply click on any story to bring up the paywall and choose the Are you a Print Subscriber? link. You will then have to verify your print subscription by providing information about your account that you entered when you signed up. You will also be asked to create a digital account which will ask for your Name, Email, and a password for your new E-Edition account. If you are unable to verify your account please contact us at 435-882-0050 to make sure you are entering the correct information.
If you choose to sign up for our Yearly E-Edition and you live within our carrier boundaries you will receive the print edition at no additional cost. If you subscribe to the Monthly or Daily Access plans, or if you live outside of our carrier boundaries you will NOT receive a free copy of our print edition. However you can purchase copies of the print edition at many locations throughout Tooele County, including Walmart and our 58 N. Main, Tooele location. If you are a Yearly E-Edition subscriber and live outside of our carrier boundaries but are still interested in receiving the print edition in the mail, please contact us. TooeleOnline.com has been built with a smart feature that remembers your assigned IP address for each of your devices on the web server. Once you have logged in, you will stay online as long as your device is connected to the same Internet connection.
For example, if you log in on your laptop at home and then wish to access your E-Edition on your laptop at work, you will be prompted to sign in again. If you have multiple devices you would like to use to access your E-Edition, simply log in on each device when prompted. (See “How do I log into my E-Edition…” above)
On the overlay/sign up screen in the “Log In” tab, click the Forgot Password? link below the continue button. You will then be prompted to insert the email you used when you signed up for your E-Edition subscription. A password reset link will be sent to you. The sender of the reset email will be from MediaPass. If the email doesn’t show up in your inbox check your junk mail folder.

If you are unable to reset your browser please call us at 435-882-0050 to reset your password.
Much like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, or any other online subscription service, you’re E-Edition subscription will automatically renew until you choose to cancel it. The only exception is the Daily Access plan which cancels automatically after 24 Hours. If you chose the Yearly or Monthly Plan option you will receive an email from MediaPass several days before your renewal date. If you no longer wish to receive your E-Edition, contact us at 435-882-0050 to cancel.
If you are a current E-Edition subscriber, you will automatically be added to an email list that will notify you every Tuesday and Thursday when new content is available. You can choose to opt out of the mailing list at any time by choosing the Unsubscribe link located on the bottom of the email.
If you have clicked the Unsubscribe link by accident or would like to receive emails after choosing to unsubscribe, please call us at 435-882-0050 to be added back to the email list.
Yes. We are currently offering a 1-month free trial coupon code.
To get your free trial please enter your name, email address, and password when prompted on the sign up screen. (See “How do I sign up for an E-Edition subscription on TooeleOnline.com?” above) Click the Continue button and choose either the monthly or the yearly option. This will be the plan that will automatically begin at the end of your trial period. (Please note that the 24 Hour Access plan will not work with the free trial coupon.) Choose Continue with yearly or monthly selected. Enter your Mailing Address, City, State, Zip, Phone Number, and payment information. You will NOT be charged at this time. After your 1-month free trial expires you will automatically begin the subscription plan you selected and will be charged accordingly.
Click on the “Apply Coupon” button on the right hand side. Enter the promo code free trial (all lowercase) and click Continue. It will then say “Code accepted. You will not be charged for the first month.” After all of the required fields have been entered click Purchase. It will confirm and give you a link to proceed to your E-Edition content. You will stay online as long as you remain on the same Network Internet Connection (See “Do I need to log in every time I visit TooeleOnline.com?” above). Your 1 month free trial begins as soon as you click the Purchase button. If you are unsatisfied with the 1 month free trial calls us at 435-882-0050 before the end of the trial period to cancel before your payed subscription plan begins.
Occasionally you may experience an issue on iPhone or iPad when you switch from one Internet connection to another. The overlay will appear and prompt you to login, but each attempt results in the overlay continually appearing. Follow the steps below to fix the issue. If the problem persists, please contact MediaPass support by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
1. go to Settings*
2. choose Safari
3. scroll down to Block Cookies
4. make sure that Never is selected
5. go back into Safari settings and choose Clear Cookies and Data and try logging in again
*On the last version of Safari, “settings” is “preferences”, and “always accept cookies,” is “never block cookies.”
