The family of Richard Wheeler Sr. wishes to express sincere appreciation to all those who reached out to us this past two weeks with cards, phone calls, food, money, flowers, thoughts and prayers. Richard had many friends, and your kindness and love has helped us through this difficult time. Thank you to the Mountain West Medical Center ER staff for their quick and attentive care given on the numerous visits to the ER. And thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ICU who cared for Richard many times during the last four years. He was very pleased with his care there and considered the staff his friends. A special thank you to Dr. Trudel for the excellent care he gave Richard over the past 10 years, and for his willingness to always answer his cell phone whenever I would call. And thank you to Don West Jr., and the Stockton Fire Department and First Responders. We always knew we could count on you when we needed help. Thank you to the Stockton First Ward Compassionate Service Group and ward members for the wonderful lunch prepared for our friends and family following the service. And thank you to the Tooele City Cemetery for the service they provided. And thank you Dan Call, a dear friend of mine, and the Tate Mortuary for the wonderful job they performed for Richard’s service, and for the support they gave our family during this time. Richard was a very unforgettable presence. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. We love you and miss you Pop!
