Loading...The GFWC Tooele Civic League sponsored a 5K run and walk for domestic violence awareness and domestic violence victims last September a few weeks before Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It was very successful but we are hoping for bigger and better things this year as we promote Pinwheels for Prevention of Child Abuse. We will be hosting a 5K run and walk on April 20 at 9 a.m. at Elton Park. The run will be from the Tooele Gun Club to Elton Park on Smelter Road. We invite everyone to come out and support domestic violence awareness by registering early for the run. You can register at http://tooeledv5k.eventbrite.com or at Elton Park on April 20 at 8 a.m. GFWC Tooele Civic League presented $670 to the Domestic Violence Coalition from our run in September. This money will be used to help domestic violence victims.
