Tooele Post Office dysfunctional

I just got back from another wonderful long wait in line at the Tooele post office. I have had many of these experiences in the past, and I think it’s about time someone who is in charge do something about their deplorable customer service. I stood in line for approximately 30 to 45 minutes waiting for someone to wait on me. There were three windows — of which two were closed — and one clerk trying her utmost to get people waited on. There were at least 10 people behind me. I noticed three people turn around and leave when they saw the line. I heard lots of grumbling from customers in the line. One said that she doesn’t ever come to this post office unless she has no other choice. Numerous people have told me they go to the Stockton post office, saying there is usually no wait time there. I do not know who the Tooele postmaster is, but it’s obvious he doesn’t know how to run it effectively and efficiently. There are a lot of nice people who work there, but they need to get their guidance from the postmaster and he needs to do his job and concentrate on efficiency, effectiveness and most importantly, the customer, who is paying their wages. No wonder the U.S. Postal System is in such dire straits. If there are more post offices like this in the country, they will never get out of debt.
