Following a 14-18 overall record during the 2021-22 season, which included a fourth-place finish in the 5A Region 7, the Tooele High Buffaloes softball team will look to turn things around as they take to the diamond this week.
The Buffaloes failed to make the playoffs last year, which was a stark downturn from the previous 2020-21 season in which the team went 28-5 and finished with a perfect 13-0 record in their region.
Tooele begins its season on Friday, where the team faces the North Sanpete Hawks in Mt. Pleasant. Their first home game is two weeks later, when the Buffaloes host the Payson Lions.
