Trick or Treat?

Children, teens and adults got a jump on Halloween this weekend with a variety of events on Friday and Saturday.

Stansbury High School Stallionettes provided a spooky performance for the crowd at halftime of the Stansbury-Cedar high school football playoff game.

Some homeowners got into the Halloween spirit with a variety of scary decorations.

All around Tooele County Halloween events celebrated the fun and spirit of the popular holiday. The Benson Gristmill hosted the annual Pumpkin Walk with games and activities plus plenty of decorated pumpkins showcasing the creative spirit.

Together with Youth held the 26th annual Family Halloween Carnival at the Dow James Building in Tooele with a kids costume parade being the venue for children to put their dress up on display.

Tooele City and Grantsville City will play host to Halloween events on Halloween day itself. Thousands of children and their parents will walk the sidewalks downtown visiting business along the way for to fill their goody bags with sweets and treats.  Grantsville City is hosting a trunk or treat in the parking lot of Grantsville High School. Family, friends and neighbors will join in the community Halloween celebration to give out candy and have fun.
