Troy Frank Lougy, 49, passed away March 24 in Tucson, Ariz., due to a brief illness. He was born Aug. 1, 1963 in Tooele to Roger Lougy and Cathy Atkin. Troy attended school in Tooele and this is where he met the love of his life, Irma MacCallummohr Lougy. They were married Oct. 18, 1986. Together they moved to Tucson, Ariz., where they were blessed with a son, Justin Lougy. Troy was devoted to his family and worked hard to support and provide for them. Troy worked over 30 years as a skilled mechanic. He also instructed karate and enjoyed various karate competitions. He enjoyed camping and being in the outdoors. Troy is survived by his wife Irma, son Justin, parents Roger and Linda Lougy, Cathy and Tom Eleopulos, brothers Curtis (Suzie) Lougy, Cody (Bonnie) Lougy and Michael (Susan) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Wendy Lougy, father in-law Judd MacCallummohr, grandfather Morley Atkin and Uncle Brent Lougy. A private service was held with his family and friends. The family would like to thank Peppi’s Hospice House at the Tucson Medical Center for their kind and loving care as well as family, friends and neighbors who have shown so much love and support in various ways.
