Veronica Mae Hymer of Tooele, Utah, sadly passed away April 4, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born in Ocalala, Nebraska, July 20, 1939, to Gabriel Davis and Frances Sarah Parrish. In May of 1966, they moved to Tooele, Utah, where she lived out the rest of her life.
She was married to Vernon Hymer until sadly Nov. 26, 1986, she became a widow. Together they had five children: Jim (who sadly passed away Feb. 22, 2023), Debra Ybarra (Willie), Michael Hymer (Tawnya), Michelle Underwood (Mark), and Christopher Hymer. He had 27 grandkids, 53 great-grandkids, and five great-great grandkids who she called all George, but then again everyone was George to her.
Veronica loved to spend time with all her grandkids and more. She had a bubbly personality that you could not forget. She was really into her genealogy, her herbs, going to the parks, playing on the merry-go-round, plus her huge love of pigs. She also loved to go visit her good friends Maryann and Danny.
Sadly, missed but never forgotten. There will be a celebration of life for her July 22, 2023, 3 to 9 p.m., at the Aquatic Center Park in the gated area. It will be buffet style. Please bring a dish there. Be a lot of people there.
