The wife of a Magna man accused of telling her to perform sexual acts on their son before he allegedly sexually abused their daughter now also has court charges filed against her.
The 29-year-old woman, whom the Transcript-Bulletin is not identifying in effort to protect the identities of the victims, told police her 32-year-old husband forced her to perform sexual acts on the couple’s 8-year-old son during a stay at a Wendover hotel last summer, according to a probable cause statement.
The father, who was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree felony sexual abuse of a child, then allegedly touched the couple’s 10-year-old daughter inappropriately while the woman and the boy were asleep.
The woman was charged Tuesday with sodomy of a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child, both first-degree felonies.
When first arrested the woman told officers that she did commit the acts, and said she believed her husband would kill her if she did not comply, according to a probable cause statement.
